Terms and conditions

Demonstration content. These terms are a configurable draft and require legal review before launch.

1. About this platform

UK Construction Industry Task Force Events is delivered by the UK Construction Industry Task Force in collaboration with The Institute of Construction Management. The two organisations are separate legal entities.

2. Bookings

A booking is confirmed when you receive a confirmation email containing a booking reference. Places are subject to capacity, and where an event is fully booked you may join a waiting list if one is enabled.

3. Payment

Where an event requires payment, payment and banking administration are handled by The Institute of Construction Management.

Prices, VAT treatment and payment terms are shown on each event page. Card details are handled by a contracted payment provider and are never stored in this platform.

4. Cancellation and refunds

Event-specific cancellation and refund terms are shown on each event page and take precedence. Unless stated otherwise, free events may be cancelled at any time through My Bookings, and refunds on paid events are administered by ICM.

5. Changes, postponement and cancellation by the organiser

Programmes, speakers and venues may change. If an event is cancelled or postponed, registered attendees are notified by email and, for paid events, refund arrangements are confirmed by ICM.

6. Recommended external events

Recommended external events are organised by other organisations. Bookings for those events are made on the organiser's website under its own terms. The Task Force and ICM are not responsible for external events.

7. Acceptable use and conduct

Attendees are expected to behave professionally and respectfully at all events. We may decline or cancel a booking where conduct is unacceptable.

8. Personal data

Personal data are handled as described in the Privacy Notice.
